CERAMIC TECHNIQUES and COMPUTER SKILLS
I work in all clay bodies, underglazes and glazes and majolica technique; make lithophanes using translucent porcelain, cone 6 electric firings or group firings in high fire cone 10 reduction and soda kilns; plaster mold making my own designs and slip cast in porcelain; favorite clay techniques: mishima, carving low and high bas-relief for sculpture and architectural ceramic wall pieces; make Silkscreens of my illustrations and print directly on clay; make in-glaze transfer images with
silkscreens applying the transfers to glazed surfaces and firing a second time: computer Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and Andromeda software for making half-tones.
